WHO WE ARE
The Super 8 Motel and Circle Bar RV Park and driver Rick Crawford have been together since 1991 when Circle Bar owner Tom Mitchell began sponsoring Crawford NASCAR Slim Jim All-Pro Ford. Prior to his association with Crawford, Mitchell was involved in Indy Car Racing and the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. In 1997 Crawford and the Circle Bar Racing team joined the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and have been a part of the series since.
The Super 8 Motel features deluxe single and double rooms, spacious suites, comfortable sitting rooms and rooms designed especially for handicapped visitors. The motel also features a restaurant, coffee shop, gift shop and private club which is available for parties and fiestas. A heated pool, sauna, relaxing whirlpool and children_s pool in the picturesque courtyard offer year round enjoyment for guests. The Circle Bar RV Park is a full scale campground that offers electricity and utility hookups for visitors.
The Circle Bar Truck Corral provides a variety of services for trucks including fuel, repair and wash bays, and a trucker store.
The Circle Bar RV Park and Super 8 Motel are located in Ozona, TX at Exit 372, Taylor Box Road off I-10. The complex includes the Circle Bar RV Park, Circle Bar Truck Corral and Super 8 Motel.

1978
1982
Began Circle Bar Auto Racing, Inc., qualified for the Indy 500, Chet Fillip was the driver and finished 24th, cars were Gurney Eagle and a Patrick Wildcat, also ran a limited schedule in CART. Ford/Cosworth power plant.
1983
Qualified for the Indy 500, Driver: Chet Fillip also ran a limited schedule in CART. Ford/Cosworth power plant.
1984
Ran an experimental chassis built by VDS racing running several CART races.
1985
Used Lola chassis, long track and short setups, DNQ at Indy with 205 mph.
1985
One week later, qualified 10th breaking a track record and finishing 10th with driver Chet Fillip.?Sold equipment, Ford/Cosworth power plant to Al Unser Jr. who went on to win the championship.
1986
Circle Bar Auto Racing, Inc. went into the Grand Nationals (Winston Cup) with driver Chet Fillip.
1987
Sold team to Fillip Racing.
1989
Circle Bar Motel and RV Park was the primary sponsor for Kelly Racing of San Antonio, TX. Competed in the TIDA, Late Model Stock with driver John Kelly.
1990
Circle Bar Auto Racing team competed in the TIDA, winning the championship. Shop based in Ozona, TX.
1991
Circle Bar Auto Racing joined the All-Pro Series with driver John Kelly.
1992
Circle Bar Auto Racing sold racing equipment to Rick Crawford. Crawford was successful with equipment in the All-Pro Series.
1993
Rick Crawford and Tom Mitchell agree to partner/sponsor relationship and race in the All-Pro Series thru 1996.
1997
Circle Bar Racing moves to NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
1998
Circle Bar Racing and Rick Crawford win their first NCTS race.
2003
Rick Crawford wins the NCTS Florida Dodge Dealers 250 in Daytona, Florida.
2007
Circle Bar Racing continues racing full time on the NCTS.
